My first photo (Christmas lights) which uses shapes it creates a sense of space because the lights go all the way to the end of the photo. One other thing this photo has is colour. Again with the lights and it's a warm colour which really sets the “Christmas” in the photo.
My second photo (The Coin). When I look at this photo the main thing that pops out is texture. It’s in the background and in the coin but mainly in the background with the wood and red stripes. Another thing this photo has is emphasis. Because right when you look at it, the coin is the first thing you see and that pulls your eye in to see what else the photo has to offer.
This third photo is my favourite of the six. Anyways the main thing I notice when I look at this awesome photo is the colour. The red just really pops out! It really makes the photo stand out from the other ones in this project. One other thing that stands out when I’m looking at this photo is contrast. Which is in the bottom and in the top of the truck. At the bottom it’s dark and then it goes to a really nice red.
Now for my fourth photo (the footprints one) which has texture all over the photo but the majority of it is in the footprints of my shoes, I really like the way my footprint comes out. It’s really clear. Anyways One last thing this photo has is space and in this case it’s pretty equal between the positive and negative space. My shoe star takes a lot of space which is the positive space and the background snow is the negative space.
My fifth photo (The blue bike lock) has colour and texture. The colour is in the blue lock thing. it’s what makes this photo pop. And the texture is also in the blue lock thing. All with the little water droplets. Water droplets are always great with texture.
And for last photo (The snow with the blue ball). This photo has emphasis because when you look at this photo the first thing you should notice is the blue ball. And after you you see the ball you wonder what else is happening in this photo. The last thing this photo has is colour. The colour is in the background and the subject. Mainly with the ball though. The ball has most of the attention. But without the white background this photo would have been a lot worse.
